Heinz Kuzio was born on June 28, 1952 in Germany. He studied Mechanical Engineering in Germany and has the degree “Diplom-Ingenieur”.
Heinz has over 25 years, professional international experience with small,
medium and very large companies.
Heinz started his professional career with Siemens in Germany as Project Manager of piping systems in nuclear power plants.
Some years later, he moved on to R. Stahl, a company of over 2,000 employees, in Stuttgart, Germany as Head of Project Management & Erection.
He had Profit & Loss responsibilities of all execution projects and overall coordination of major project management activities. Heinz was several times for many months at a time in the USA leading a 10 million
Heinz then changed to Böllhoff as Head of the Business Profitcenter Plant Construction. He created a sales volume of 40.5 million USD with remarkable results per annum.
In 1993, Heinz was with ABB Power Generation in Switzerland. He was the Project Manager of Plant Arrangement and Civil Works responsible for 4 power plants, executed in parallel, in Libya with the total budget responsibility of 175 million USD. At the same time, Heinz was also Section Manager of Project Management to insure the continuous improvement programs of project management processes by gathering and assessing the experience feedback from other international projects.
After a long experience in Project Management, Heinz changed to the area of Supply Management and moved from ABB Switzerland to ABB Germany to take over the function of Head of Supply Management & Purchasing. Under his responsibility, the operational Purchase Order Volumes increased from 250 to 450 million Euros per annum.
After Alstom Power Generation took over the power plant business of ABB, Heinz’ main department was nominated as the Supply Management Lead Center of Supply Management departments in Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Poland and USA. His area of responsibility included the development, implementation and execution of global supply strategies by using international Supply Management and Sourcing Concepts but also the execution of operational purchasing based on establishing strong supplier relationships and effectively managing costs. Heinz also developed, implemented and maintained many internal consulting projects like cost reduction programs, E-Purchasing, new methodologies and tools for optimization of quality, delivery and costs including harmonisation of sourcing processes and metrics, but also new databases for Purchasing Controlling and Reporting.
Heinz is the founder and
Owner of KUZIO-CONSULTING. In 2002, Heinz started KC in Germany to help German
companies become more efficient and successful.
In the last few years, KC has been quickly expanding its consulting services throughout Europe and North America. KUZIO-CONSULTING provides a broad range of consulting services to executives, teams, and organizations undertaking transformation and performance improvement initiatives in the areas of Management Consulting, Project Management, Purchasing & Supply Management, Contract & Claim Management, Change Management, Human Resources and Global Sourcing.
